Don’t judge a book by its cover
Covers a deceiving outer layer
Layer upon layer we build
Fact fiction truth and lies
Mixing blending resulting in you
Resulting in I
We conceal and hide
Our true depth inside
Don’t be deceived by all you see with your eyes
You’ll see the smile
You’ll see the beauty
Ignoring telling signs
Of something deeper inside
Don’t judge a book by its cover
but uncover what lies beneath
Never assume
Dig a little deeper you may be surprised
The strongest cry
and the boldest lie
Outer layers can not stop your true nature
Eventually we always see whats inside

Agreed. In today’s society we are made to believe that just because a person looks a certain way thier either threatening or as if they be trusted with your truest secret. It’s difficult not to judge. I do it and I’m sure you do it, but it’s not intensional. The radars in our brain are the first to react when we see someone. We just have give people a chance and if your intuition tells you something is off, believe it.
I love that and it’s so true, our radars in our brains are the first to react because all it has is a physical stimuli to go by. But yes when we give people a chance and dig a little deeper we find so much more. Thanks for reading 😄
My pleasure! 😊
Truer words have never been spoken. But this is all we do in the world today. Like she said, we are all guilty. And sadly, I too am no exception.
